Audius Maximus [Rock Covers, 4 piece]
Must-see band The Spinning Wheel Inn, Paignton on Thursday 5 August 2010
My 16 year old son has been playing guitar for 2 years now and is progressing very well, he had never seen a live band before, so I thought it was time he did, we were on holiday in Paignton and I saw on the spinning notice board that a band (Audius Maximus) were playing that night. We went along to see them and my son was blown away by them, they were brilliant! We were impressed by their musicianship and throughly enjoyed the gig. Thank you to all the band for inspiring my son to continue with his guitar, wherever it may lead.
I highly recommend this band to anyone, even if you're not a fan of Rock!
We loved the AC/DC songs and I was impressed when they played The Cult, as well as many other great songs.
Thank you for a memorable evening, one I know my son will never forget.

This was the second time we've seen them, hopefully the second of many!
Even without their keyboard player who was off sick they managed to make enough noise to get the whole pub rocking and the sound quality was excellent.
They could easily do an AC/DC tribute act, they do their songs like Whole Lotta Rosie & Highway to Hell so well; the lead singer has really got the voice for it.
Whatever they do sounds great!
