Bad Penny [Classic Rock, 3 piece]

What a fantastic welcome back to live rock music after the lockdown - These guys set the bar HIGH. Absolutely loved the Hendrix tracks. Will def be seeing you again soon! Keep on rocking!
Sue, Monday 9 August 2021Thanks so much! Great to be back as well. Hope to see you again.

Bad Penny couldn't be further from the truth, you definitely want these guys to come back.
The gig at the Dashwood was a little gem, a good crowd was rewarded with some top class live music.
For me the highlights were Rosalie the Bob Seger song but played Thin Lizzie style and Wishing Well the Free song (not Airborne Toxic Event Song but would like to hear that)
I was told it was a stand in drummer and the bass player was a tad poorly, so if that is an evening of under par Bad Penny I will make a point of seeing them again, I suggest anyone that reads this review joins me.
Thanks guys and thanks the Dashwood for keeping music live.
Sunday 21 January 2018Thanks for the kind words Martin, I’m glad you enjoyed the night. Looking forward to returning to the Dashwood, great crowd and atmosphere. Regards. Jason.

Berkhamsted belied it's persona of Home Counties gentility and got downright dirty and loud. The band played two sets including 'Highway To Hell' and 'Whole Lotta Rosie' in what I thought was a fitting tribute to Malcolm Young and from a bunch of strangers standing around twitching a bit at 9.30, by midnight - thanks to intense doses of Lizzy, The Stones, Neil Young and Whitesnake - we were rocking out like madmen. Where are they playing next? Find out and run - do not walk - to see them!
Saturday 25 November 2017Thanks for the kind words, hope to see you again soon. Jason
