my first time at the Seale arms Dartmouth traveled up from kingsbridge to check out the venue the band tonight were The Fabulous Bailjumpers i had heard this guys were a bit wild and what treat . they looked a bit of a motley crew with names like "Lurch" Dick Scratcher and A red hot Guitar man called seamore bush !. there music was rough and ready with interesting choices that really please the crowd whom the band played up to all night . stand out songs , Psycho Killer , unchain my heart, you shook me all night long a great cover of the screaming lord sutch song " i', a hog for you baby " 2 full 1 hour sets (unusual fr a band ) had us all jumping . brilliant night and a great venue

This was their second gig of the day (3rd in 24 hours!) for these crazy guys, who were followed to The Kings Arms by most of the crowd who had seen them at the previous pub they played in, which should give you an indication as to just how good they are!

They hit the ground running with Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" then marched on through Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love"; a great song called "Riot in Cell Block Number 9" followed by a cracking version of Jimi Hendrix's "Red House" featuring double sax and guitar solos, then they really rocked the house with a number called "Bad Boy For Love".

This band has 3 singers, a blistering hot guitarist and the coolest dude ever playing sax, who seemed oblivious to the antics going on around him. The antics and banter throughout the gig were hilarious - and, credit given where it's due - the drummer soaked it up and dished it out and at one point had everyone in stitches when he pulled out a megaphone to berate the singer!

The second set was awesome and although it was hot (with sweat practically running down the walls) we loved it. The highlight of the evening for me, had to be 'Sweet Child of Mine' sung by the drummer whilst still playing drums!

I'm going to join this bands fan club!

What a fantastic afternoon's live music was had in Teignmouth on Easter Bank holiday Sunday with The Bail Jumpers. We turned up at the Newquay Inn hoping to see a live band inside and they were outside the pub in the sunshine set up and ready to go.

A well polished performance from these guys who were as tight as a drum and full of energy despite the boiling weather.

They played some awesome music from the Monkees 'Daydeam Believer' to Electric Six's 'Gay Bar' (the antics had us in giggles). What a amazing version of of Jimi Hendrix's 'Red House' with Saxophone and guitar solos - one of the best renditions I have heard with the big guy at the front belting it out and we all sang along to Billy Idol's 'In The Midnight Hour'. In all the band played well over 2.5 hours.

It was said by the front man that the the sax player was Axel Rose's Dad, and it must be true because he's the spitting image!

I'm told the band will be back again next year. So will we.

It was very cold on Sunday afternoon so we wrapped up warm and headed for the Kings to see a favourite band of mine, the fabulous Bail Jumpers.

What a great afternoon of fun and quality music they put together; this band really knows how to entertain. The Bail Jumpers played the afternoon session with a stand-in guitar player (a former band mate known as Seamore Bush) and added the skills of the legendary former El-cojones saxman Dick Cheese.

The music was magic, Red House stood out as did Molly's Chamber and Rose Tattoo's "Bad Boy For Love" but the highlight of the afternoon was an old favourite Doctor Feelgood song, "Down at the Doctor's" - pure class.

This band had the whole pub laughing with them, with the ribbing of each other and the crowd members. The drummer's special effects department was a scream: he had a loudhailer that made the singer jump out of his skin at one point, and the things they wrote about each other and various members of the crowd on the pub's many blackboards were class.

I wish this band would gig more often.

Saw the band for the first time at Westgate Inn,Taunton,Saturday 13th November and just wanted to say how my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed them and especially loved the on-going banter between the band members and their fun personalities. Great voices and loved the rock songs and the guitar playing. Can't wait to see them again. Brilliant! Many thanks for a great evening!
