An outstanding Rock Band comprising ex-professional recording artists from the 70s.~ Some of them appear on albums released on original vinyl.~ Classic Rock Hits and a little blues performed by a band of ex-professionals who were there at the time!~ “Exceptional players with great harmony vocals”We left the music business professionally decades ago; but we’ve always gigged, playing every type of venue over the years. From town halls to village halls, from tiny music pubs to iconic rock venues, from rock clubs on the continent to big stage festivals during English summers.We put this band together in 2019 simply for the joy of getting back on the road to play the classic rock hits that EVERYONE knows and loves. The best music of the 20th century, played exactly like the original records.Our fees are low. We prefer to charge less so we can pick and choose our bookings. We try to work no more than twice a month and have no interest in the money. We’ve been playing a lot of private parties but now want to focus more on pub gigs - much more fun. Pub audiences really dig our playing and Landlords always want to re-book us.We always get people approaching us with lovely compliments about our playing, telling us how much they enjoyed the band and how accurately we play the vintage rock hits. Be it Jimi Hendrix or Marc Bolan, our lead guitarist Frank has the knack of not only playing those famous guitar solos note for note, but also sounding exactly like the original artists.We love seeing young and old leaping to their feet when they hear those iconic guitar intros from ‘our era’ - Born to Be Wild, Alright Now, Honky Tonk Women, Radar Love, Rebel Rebel, Get it On, Caroline, Mustang Sally, Keep on Running, You Really Got Me, Can’t Get Enough, etc etc.Artists we cover include:-Cream, Free, David Bowie, T-Rex, Fleetwood Mac, The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, The Sweet, Thin Lizzy, Badfinger, Golden Earring, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Steppenwolf, Steve Miller, ZZ Top, Wilson Picket, The Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, Canned Heat, The Who, Van Morrison, The Spencer Davis Group, The Doors, Ike & Tina Turner . . . and many more we all love and cherish.We’ve just added a new backing / harmony singer. Like us Gail is from the 70s but she is from a famous musical family.
