All of the fresh produce comes from within a 40-mile radius and our menus are excellent. We organise country walks on a weekly basis, which are ideal for anyone keen on exploring the local area. The Carpenters Arms is a traditional 17th century Cotswold pub, set in the picturesque village of Miserden near Stroud. Originally a carpenter's shop, it changed to a pub around 100 years ago retaining its traditional Cotswold look boasting a 5-foot ingle look open fire place, oak beams and pictures of Miserden on the walls.A warm welcome always awaits you to an atmosphere where you can simply sit and have a relaxing drink from a selection of our real ales, sixteen ciders and excellent wines. Or choose to have a meal from our menu. The menu offers three starter choices, eight main courses and eight vegetarian choices not forgetting nine home-made pudding choices to finish off. All meals are cooked and prepared on the premises and ingredients are sourced from local producers where possible. Sunday roasts are available from twelve noon until eight in the evening. We do have a smoking area towards the front of the pub, but still situated well away from the front entrances and exits.
