The Blue Anchor, Great Night as Always! After seeing CHRIS BANDERAS play at The Schooner Inn ,In Seahouses, Northumberland, in 2012. We asked him to play at our wedding on the 5th October 2013 at The Inn On The Lake in Ulswater, Lake District Cumbria, We Missed our Chance to Thank Him Personally on this Web Site,So we are doing it now,following seeing him again at the Blue Anchor in Brixham in July 2014. At Our Wedding Reception Chris did 2 spots and performed a great play list based on our Personal Choices, The Highlight of the evening for us however was near the Beginning of his first set,having Previously talked to Chris and invested in a few Dancing lessons! Chris did a Live version of Black Magic Woman , as we took to the Floor for our first dance as Bride and Groom , leaving our guests GOBSMACKED! Our Performance Finished and Chris followed it up with a great mix of Rock Classics! Our Guests Packing the Dance floor and Performing with a mix of Inflatable Guitars Chris Had Brought and Air Guitars .! NOT AT ANY Wedding Reception that we have attended has the floor been so full of people so early in the Evening! Chris finished off his Second set with one of my all time favourites,Highway to Hell By AC/DC. Sorry Chris but we had to hand over to the DJ to give the girls a chance on the dance floor and to bring on the smoochy bits! The Night at The Blue Anchor In Brixham although a little cramped due to it being packed to the Rafters full of Chris Banderas Fans! Chris Banderas is an amazing musician and vocalist, and one NOT to be missed. Renditions of Thin Lizzy, and Gary Moore songs such as "The Boys are back in town", and "Still got the blues" were magical and set the scene for an electrifying afternoon along with other covers of "Alright now" by FREE, "Knocking on Heavens Door" by Guns 'n Roses to name just some of the great music he entertained us with.

The gig was a great success and had all jigging and tapping their feet, and dancing to this guy's great music and it was a privilege to have Chris, as an honorary member of TDMCC, wear the patch with pride!

Thanks Chris for a fantastic afternoon at THE ENDEAVOUR public house for Teignmouth Drifters Motor Cycle Club's rock afternoon. Here's to the next Bank Holiday 2012 - same place same time! Come and see this guy in action - he is NOT to be missed!
