O'Neill's, High Wycombe on Sat 20th Jul 2013
Excellent band, best I've heard locally. Called into the pub for a couple of drinks after a day out........and ended up staying til the end of the night after the band came on! Danced all night to some well performed tracks :-) And the Blurred Lines cover....well that was the icing on the cake! Varied music performed effortlessly by the female lead vocalist.........Go see them folks, great to dance to, really feel good band......you wont be disappointed!

The White Hart, Hemel Hempstead on Sat 17th Nov 2012
After what I would say was a slow start in set 1 this band came to life in set 2 and the pub was eating out of the palm of their hands. Completely won me over. The male singer in particular was brilliant.

Jumping beans The Red Lion Hotel, Luton on Fri 15th Oct 2010
As far as I am aware, this was the first gig in Luton for CoolBeans, but after 2 songs, you never would have known that! The band had everyone tapping their feet from the first note, and by the second song everyone was jumping and dancing. To be honest, a lot of the crowd seemed initially like they would be hard to win over, but it was no challenge for these guys.
Each member of the band is intent on ensuring every member of the crowd has a good time. Jess's vocals are always amazing, so talented. It is great to hear Nick's voice too... they complement each other perfectly. Ash, Nick and Jack never seem to miss a note, and there is great chemistry between all the guys.
Although it is hard to pick a favourite amongst so many good songs, Kings of Leon's "Sex On Fire", Scissor Sisters' "Take your Mama" and "9 to 5" are always the highlight for me, and Friday night was no different.
I'm not a singer or a musician, but love going to gigs, and I look forward to seeing CoolBeans as much as any "chart" band.
I dragged quite a few people along on Friday, most of whom had not seen the band before. Every single one left a 'Bean Believer" too! All of them are asking when the next gig will be and where.
All in all it was a TOP gig guys, but then again CoolBeans never achieve anything less. If you get chance to see them live, it's a must!

Hot Beans in the Goat The Goat, Berkhamsted on Fri 2nd Jul 2010
The first thing that struck me was the chemistry between these talented musicians - they sparked off each other and created some wonderful interpretations of classic rock numbers from the 60's to the present day. All up-tempo and catchy, setting off the dancers until the whole room was jigging. Jess (lower pitch) and Katie (higher) grabbed the attention of music lovers immediately with their sweet harmonies, while Ash's bass guitar was insistent, Nick's lead guitar was faithful and tuneful, and Jack provided the all-important beat so skilfully. My favourites on the night were 'Take Your Mama Out' and 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' - the group is fantastic with Scissor Sisters numbers - plus 'Valerie', 'Walking on Sunshine' and the amazing medley of 'Love Shack' and '500 Miles'. The CoolBeans gave a roasting performance and the audience was jumping!
