The Crawdaddy Club at The Richmond Athletic Ground, Richmond [Music Club]

Established in 1962 The Crawdaddy Club Richmond was on the forefront of Britain's R&B scene. It was the Rolling Stones first residency and helped to launch the early careers of such musical luminaries as The Yardbirds with Eric Clapton, Manfred Mann with Paul Jones, Rod Stewart, Long John Baldry and many others.Since being revived in March of this year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original club we have been proud to host some great bands, like The Blue Bishops and 3AM with guests including Bill Wyman, Elmer Gantry. Don Craine (Downliners Sect) and Top Topham, one of the original Yardbirds.A great venue with a mix of comfortable seating and standing and a large bar. Plenty of free parking and less than 10 minutes walk from Richmond Station.
Live music is always charged for.
