Welcome! If you are looking for a good real ale pub with Wi-Fi in Old Amersham, why not call in to The Eagle? We have at least two real ales on tap as well as lagers, ciders, an extensive range of bottled beers, flavoured alcoholic shots, spirits and soft drinks. Tea and coffee are also always available.

Home Cooked Pub Food in Amersham - With a choice between bar snacks or full lunches, we like to think that we offer an extensive range of honest, proper, homemade pub food at Lunchtime 7 days a week:

12.00 - 3.30on Saturday / Sunday

Our Traditional Sunday Roast offers a choice of Extra Matured Scotch Beef or rolled Leg of Pork accompanied with all the usual trimmings including cauliflower cheese and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Advance booking is recommended but we will always do our best to accommodate casual visitors whenever possible.

Beer Garden in Old Amersham - Our garden is probably the most attractive of any pub in Old Amersham overlooking Bar Meadow Recreation Ground to which there is direct access from our back gate via the footbridge over the river Misbourne. The garden is a particular favourite with our summertime customers who like to enjoy their food in the shade or summer sunshine. We also have a 5 metre square heated Parasol which is ideal for those who still enjoy a cigarette with their drink or just prefer to be outside come rain or shine!
