Apply to perform at Brentford Festival13 Mar 2015Apply to perform at Brentford Festival Brentford Festival is a non-profit making, family and community event with a primary aim of bringing the local community together and allowing them to discover their local parks and the facilities, skills of individuals and the groups and activities available to them in their area. It is run by volunteers and musical performances are not paid. The stage and stage crew is excellent, however, and with an expected crowd of around 10,000, performing a spot at Brentford Festival is a very valuable opportunity. There is a main stage for bands, an acoustic stage for solo and duo acts and a merchandising tent adjacent to the two stages, where performers can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the money paid. I am the music director at this year's Brentford Festival, which means that I am the person to contact if you would like to be considered for performing this year, on Sunday 6th September, between midday and 6pm.Email me on:-email@example.comThe application deadline is May 31st

Three Paid Feature Spots Going This Sunday!3 Oct 2014Three Paid Feature Spots Going This Sunday! Just to let all you jammers and performers know; Tim West is unable to make the October 5th feature night at the Six Bells, Brentford - this Sunday. The Jam and feature night will STILL GO AHEAD and we will have 3 FEATURE SPOTS of 30min (instead of a support spot and a 60min feature). ALSO, the paid feature spot money will be divided between all the 3 featured artistes (this is £20 plus all the money I collect in a jug, which I take round personally). If you like to jam - come along for 7pm and enjoy a sing-around / (largely) acoustic jam.If you want to perform a feature spot on the PA come along at 7pm too - as I'll be handing out raffle tickets to draw the feature spot winners from.Find out moreI've had a few enquiries about getting one of this Sunday's 30min paid feature spots. As it seems quite popular, I've decided to give an extra raffle ticket to people arriving at the start (7pm) and taking part in the jam / sing-around; so I'll be giving out another raffle ticket to performers in the jam who are interested in doing one of the feature spots every 30 mins from 7pm - so that those there and participating the longest will have an advantage - which seems fair! The raffle draw is at 8.30pm and there will be three chances at winning a spot - so will be good odds for an early arriver who participates in the jam!
