Band update
25 Aug 2021Band update
We are up and running again as a band after a long break thanks to the pandemic. I have just uploaded new master versions of some of our recordings on this website under the heading "tracks" I hope you enjoy them. The Estuary Buoys have been together for over 10 years and we have made 5 albums. We play acoustic covers covering different genres and we pride ourselves in making them interesting and creative. We are practicing again and we are pleased to announce that a female singer, Jules, has joined the band. She really has a beautiful voice and we look forward to gigging with her in the future. All we need now are some gigs to play at.Phil Swann
Hi all.
19 May 2014Hi all.
I get the feeling that the 'Gig God' is conspiring against us! The Buoys have turned down three gigs in three weeks due to all of us not being available. That's the nature of the beast I guess. The latest was the offer of a charity gig in aid of the RNLI at The Gresham in Dawlish on Sat. 31st May. A great cause, so go and support it anyway.
Last night.
23 Feb 2014Last night.
Hello all. Last night's gig at the Shipwright's Arms seemed to go very well. The new PA was great-money well spent! Had some good feedback about the sound quality including some from one 'seasoned' muso who knows his onions- thanks Ian! The punters had a good time we think, well a few of them bought CDs so we assume they did. We also had a couple of enquiries about doing gigs, both in Gloustershire coincidentally! Our fame is speading apparently. Nick and Lynda, the publicans were great, as usual. Our third visit to the pub and it's always a pleasure. We're back there on Sat.19th July.
