The Seale Arms,Dartmouth., Tuesday 17 September 2019Thank you for that great review guys. Always a pleasure to play at the Seale.
Kris and Claire have recently taken over the Seale Arms in Dartmouth and have turned it into the place to go in town. They are a super friendly couple and you will be sure of a warm welcome. Together with the the Wednesday Jam nights and live bands at the weekend it has become a haven for musicians and music fans alike. Keeping it live - thank you, thank you, thank you. p.s. the food is also terrific.

Had A Fab night at The Kirkham on Saturday 23rd Feb ! Have seen FAB play before but each time they get better and better !!! Thankyou for A Fabulous Evening looking forward to The Next One.
Monday 25 February 2019We love playing at the Kirkham, it was one of the best nights for us as well. You lot are a fantastic audience, friendly, enthusiastic and dance maniacs. A huge thank you to all who came along, sir Ken of kirkhamshire for booking us, and all the other guys and gals who work so hard to make this the best venue in town.

My wife and I were staying at The Airfield campsite in Branscombe and saw on Lemonrock that a band was playing on Sunday evening at The Fountain Head pub. We love this place so decided to walk down, have a few beers and listen to some live music. Well what can I say! As soon as FAB did their sound check I knew we were in for a great evening of live music. These guys are ALL great, talented musicians! Not just some blokes who think they can play a few tunes down the pub. No, the real deal! Tight drums and bass flavoured with great authentic 60's guitar sound and some tasteful keys too or second guitar. These guys ALL sing too with great voice and vocal harmony which all adds to the authentic 60's sound that we all know and love. I loved their rendition of Itcycoo Park by the Small Faces, not an easy song to recreate live but FAB nailed that along with The Stones 'All Over Now' and 'The Last Time' too. They also did a couple of great medleys, The Beatles and Motown which kept the music flowing very nicely. The whole pub was rocking with people up dancing and/or singing along to this GREAT band. They ended with a surprise i wasn't expecting! The Jams 'A Town Called Malice' - Fantastic! We will be going to see them again - definitely and you must too if you love 60's music and great live music.
Tuesday 14 August 2018Wow, thanks Chris. We really appreciate that you put pen to paper to give us such a terrific review. I'm so chuffed that I hope that you won't mind if I put a precis on our website.
Umm, err, I don’t really know what else to say as you have just described everything that we set out to do with our little band. It's good to know that we are on the right track.
We love playing the Fountain Head, always a great crowd and how tasty was that hog roast (yes, the band get fed, luxury!).
Come and say hi the next time that you see us play, the first pint is on us.

Saw FAB the first time last night at The Labour club, really enjoyed the music, very good and varied choice of songs. Would definitely see them again.Good music to get up and dance to. Thanks guys,Tracey
Sunday 9 July 2017Thank you Tracey. We really appreciate it when someone drops us a line or writes a review. It was a great night for us too. It's always a warm welcome at Whipton but last night was even better than usual and the singing on Delilah and HiHo was terrific. Best wishes from the FAB boys.

I wanted to hire a band that would have the entirety of our party guests up on their feet and having a good time (irrespective of age) for my husband's 60th birthday, and give not only him, but them also, a night to remember. So, with the help of my daughter (who goes to lots of live music gigs) we scoured the internet and found FAB on Lemonrock. Although it turned out the band was unknown to us (or anyone else we knew for that matter) their demo sounded good, so we took a punt and booked them on the strength of what we'd heard, and I'm so glad we did because by the time the music was supposed to have finished, I had guests insisting they'd pay extra if only the band would agree to play for half an hour longer - to which they good-naturedly agreed!
From the first to the last chord of their entertaining performance, FAB's varied set list meant everyone was satisfied with what they chose to play rather than continually pestering the band for requests, although it has to be said they were hugely accommodating to the point of indulgence when my slightly drunk son took over the microphone towards the end of one song!
Although my memory's not good enough to single out specific song performances for praise, I can say the drumming was tight, and the playing was 'spot on' for every one with the singer making each sound great!
The first live band I saw years ago was SLADE and my daughter's, OASIS. We are a family who love their music and who don't like it played badly, so this band definitely 'hit the spot'. My husband was delighted with his birthday bash and I've received so many cards and emails congratulating me for my party organising skills and for my good choice of FAB as our party band that I don't mind admitting to those reading this who might be tempted to book FAB for themselves that their fees won't break the bank either!
To conclude - I don't have one negative thing to say about our experience of FAB, who - in my opinion - would go down well anywhere. I took a chance on them and they more than exceeded my expectations. What more can I say?

Thursday 19 March 2015Thank you Maddalena for that terrific review. I'm almost speechless - which is rare for me. Your family and friends were a total pleasure to play for and it's a gig that we won't forget. Nights like that are the main reason we do it.
Best wishes to you and yours,
Phil, Ged and John
