Gavin Thomas is a singer songwriter and acoustic guitar player.

He performs his one-man show, under the name of Gavin & his Guitar, in and around his home town of Guildford, Surrey - just south of London, England.

On Monday 23rd March 2020 all of Gavin's gigs were cancelled as the United Kingdom went into lockdown because of Covid-19 and the coronavirus pandemic. Gavin decided to keep on playing his regular Tuesday and Saturday night gigs - the only difference is that he’s now playing from a small wooden summer house in his garden. The shows are filmed by webcam, and are broadcast simultaneously across the globe on Facebook Live. Songs From The Summer House gigs are all on-line interactive music nights, and you will be able to message Gavin live during the shows to make song requests and comments etc. As they are all request nights, the music can range from Bob Dylan to Bob Marley, Neil Young to Neil Finn, David Gray to David Bowie, The Stereophonics to The Stones, The Cure to The Kooks, Razorlight to Radiohead, Coldplay to Pink Floyd .... you get the idea.

So far these gigs have brought together a gloriously international audience, with people tuning in live from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Egypt, Brazil, India, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, France, Germany, and throughout the UK. Come and say hello, every Tuesday and Saturday from 20.00 BST. (Doors open 19.50 BST)

Gavin uses a Maton acoustic guitar, and D'Addario strings.
