This trio sprung from the larger and constantly changing Batford Band. Graham Goffee and Bru Brown have played a wide variety of roots and world music together for over 40 years, mainly on guitar, fiddle and voice. They were joined by Nigel Hyams about 20 years ago, who added accordion, mouth harp and voice to the mix. Their repertoire varies from early rock and roll to traditional tunes, via The Incredible String Band, Richard Thompson and many other stopping off points from around the world. They include self penned material and like to use songs by other local writers and performers whenever they can.
