SymhaTree

SymhaTree are a versatile three piece Alt/Rock/indie Band formed at the back end of 2019 with a view to start gigging in 2020!

Mikey Murphy formerly the bass player for Watford based Reggae/Rock Band 'Late Day Breakers' (currently on indefinite hiatus) had been wanting to start his own musical project for a long while. Due to other commitments however, he was unable to really get this going until the early autumn of 2019.

Matty Dread (Drums & backing vocals) agreed to be on board after Mikey had asked him to play Drums after working together in 'The Inner Light Band' (a George Harrison tribute act) and in September, the lineup was complete when Bassist and Mikey’s Bro in law Jay Walker agreed to be a part of what is now SymhaTree! All three guys are seasoned musicians with extensive experience playing in bands of all genres and are good friends. The whole band is vegetarian, also with Matty and Jay very adept at cooking up delightful vege' dishes!

After rehearsing lots and debating whether they would require another member throughout the winter of 2019, the band decided to stick to a three-piece arrangement, after being happy with the dynamics between the three members that clicked immediately from the first rehearsal. They are very happy with the sound they have produced and are now ready to get going with gigs!
