Formed in the early 90's, Republica have achieved sales of over 3 Million Albums going Top 5 in UK, US and Europe and achieving Platinum Sales Worldwide. The track ‘Ready To Go’ went to No. 1 in 18 countries and has been featured in Hollywood movies, TV Shows and in international advertising campaigns.‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ was used as the theme to the Wes Craven Horror Movie ‘Scream’! Saffron has also continued to work independently, featuring in various side-projects and lending her vocals to tracks including The Cure's 'Just Say Yes' - from their Greatest Hits album/she was also in the video with them, The Prodigy's 'Fuel My Fire' (from The Fat Of The Land) and ‘Beauty Never Fades’ by Junkie XL which reached No. 1 in Poland, amongst others. After a long hiatus they started touring and releasing again in 2009. Tours with Space (joint 20th anniversary Tour) and the Boomtown Rats (Ratlife Tour) followed with Republica showcasing new material and continuing to bring their high energy electropop-punk vibes to venues around the UK.
