Doc Stenson's Amazing Hotshots will be playing at The Stags Head, East Sheen/Barnes on Saturday May 28th, 8.30 pm. Excellent ales and food (landlord is a chef). Lovely, friendly vibe with real music lovers and people up for a bop. For this saturday night gig we accent towars dancy songs. We play our own songs and a wide range of old songs from early rock and roll, jump blues, early soul, and country, classic pop and rock, JJ Cale and even some jazz.

Doc Stenson's Amazing Hotshots : We describe our music as Electric Americana. Not just country music, but also jump jive, blues, early soul and rock and roll, rock etc. Plus our own songs, written in those styles. We love dance gigs and have (from October 2021) a regular second Wednesday of the month gig at The Griffin, Brentford. We sometimes have a guest musician in the second set, maybe a singer, sax, keyboard, mandolin... (more »)
