Not 'my' band; I play in the St Albans Symphony Orchestra (SASO); we return to St Saviour’s Church in St Albans on Saturday the 13th of May.
Conducted by Christopher Stark, we will play Stravinsky's Symphonies of Wind Instruments, then welcome mezzo soprano Emma Stannard, to sing Grieg's Songs with Orchestra.
After the interval the concert will conclude with Mendelssohn's Symphony 5 (Reformation).
