Phil's long and varied career includes touring Europe and Ireland with (recently reformed) Doctor Miller and the Cute Hoors, and also the Shanakies when they supported Blur on their Parklife Tour - gigging and recording with Vic Godard as one of the Subway Sect, being a member of west London legends the Bitter Springs, and festival favourites Kindred Spirit, as well as playing with The Men They Couldn't Hang and also in a duo with Swill from TMTCH sharing a stage with Chumbawumba.

Phil plays at The Brewery Tap joined by special guests and collaborators on two of his albums, Anne, Prue and Philippa, described in a review of his second album as "a choir sounding like the Mike Sammes singers on pot”. This gig will include a mixture of his own material and his take on well loved favourites for all to join in with.
