CELEBRATING OUR KINGS CORONATION YEAR
First introduced by Exmouth Rotary in 1995 to fund the Flag Poles around the Seafront Clock Tower on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of VE/VJ Day – the ‘Last Night of the Proms Concerts have continued with a further 30 at the Exmouth Pavilion and Exeter Cathedral raising over £90,000 for Rotary local and National Charities.
Tonight Exmouth Rotary are proudly presenting - in Celebration of our Kings Coronation Year – SW Comms award winning Band led by Musical Director Stephen Sykes with their top quality musical arrangements. Joining them tonight the highly talented Exmouth Centre Stage with their high quality songs from their many Musical Productions and leading the ‘Sing Along's’ this evening.
A great enjoyable evening of music and song and always a great opportunity to bring ‘The Proms’ from the Royal Albert Hall right into Exmouth Pavilion traditionally bringing the Concert to a close. Britannia will be here. Much flag waving to ‘National’ music and song for this very special Celebration.
Everyone will be given a union flag. Also traditional hats for sale to further enjoy the occasion.
