General
Gig feeds save you time. Add your band or venue gigs to Lemonrock, and the gig list on your own website will stay up-to-date automatically! You make a simple one-off change by adding a small piece of HTML to your own website.
Bands and venues can create Gig Feed widgets for their own sites.
First, go to 'my gig feeds'.
(Edit -> Gigs -> my gig feeds)
1. Click on 'Create new gig feed' and set up the format of the gig listing you want for your own site.
2. You can set up some preset styles by selecting an option from the 'Apply preset template' list.
3. When you have set up the styles, click on the button 'Create this gig feed and create HTML' and then copy the HTML from the text box 'HTML created for this feed' to your own site.
No. We've created a range of standard feed styles for you. All you have to do is copy and paste the HTML that is created into your own site.
Advanced
The HTML that is created by our Gig Feeds tool is an iframe which, when you paste it to your own site, looks like a part of your page but gets its contents automatically from Lemonrock.
Yes. Gig feeds can be customised by using your 'my gig feeds' section. You specify the period you want, e.g. this month, next 2 months, remainder of this month, next gig, next 4 gigs, etc. You can also add month headings to organise your gigs by month.

Yes. You can specify the font family, size, weight, and a host of other properties in your 'my gig feeds' section.
Font colours and background colours can be specified using the CSS style inputs in the gig feed form.
Yes, you can use a standard CSS style as your starting point, and edit some or all of it to create your own styles.
You can specify the styles for link, hover and visited if the standard colours don't suit your site. Enter your styles in the 3 boxes 'link', 'hover' and 'visited'.
For example, if you set 'link' to color:#008000; text-decoration:none;, 'hover' to color:#ff0000; text-decoration:underline; and 'visited' to color:#800080; text-decoration:none;, you would get a link like this.
The syntax is a token replacement system, where every part of your gig listing is represented by a symbol.
You write the symbols in the gig feed form and then each symbol is replaced by actual gig information when the listing is displayed on your site.
The syntax table is listed at the end of the gig feed form, and in the links below.
