I'm in a band. How do I add a gig?
First, log in and click the 'Home' tab to create or edit your band page. Add a description, contact details, and a photo.
To add gigs for your band without support acts, click the 'View Gigs' tab, and click the date of the gig. A gig form will appear. Fill in the venue name and the start time, and click the 'Create gig for (date)' button. Your gig is now added to our listings.
You can show more or fewer dates in 'View Gigs' by clicking 'Adjust View Gigs'. You can choose which days of the week your new gigs are on (defaults to Fridays and Saturdays), and how far ahead you can add new dates (defaults to 4 weeks ahead).
To add a single gig, multiple gigs on different days, regular (repeating) gigs, gigs with support acts, or for dates not selectable in 'View Gigs', use the more flexible 'Edit Gigs' option on the Edit menu. Fill in the venue name, and the date and time of the gig. If the gig is a repeating gig, fill in the end date and the repeat pattern (weekly, monthly etc). If the gig has support acts, you can add them using this form. Set the 'Preview gig?' option to take you to your band page, or your diary, or 'View Gigs' to see your new gig.
When creating a gig, if the venue doesn't already have a page on Lemonrock, it will be automatically created, and you can then add contact information about the venue, a photo and a description, by clicking on the tools icon next to your gig, and selecting 'Edit venue'.
If you already have a list of your gigs from your calendar, or a text file containing your gig dates, you can import them into Lemonrock all in one go. See our Importing Multiple Gigs feature.

Who can edit my gigs?
In addition to the Lemonrock Editors, the venue and band involved in the gig can both edit the gig. Please ensure that you have agreed the date and time with the other party before adding your gig to Lemonrock.
What details can the other party change?
The other party can change any part of the gig information, including date, time, description, entry price, and so on. They may also delete the gig, or change the gig status to cancelled or sold out.
What if the other party accidentally deletes my gig?
In our experience, this is very rare. The editing flexibility on Lemonrock means that both parties to a gig - the band/artist and the venue - can update or correct a gig that they are both involved in promoting. If you do accidentally delete a gig, you can easily re-create it if necessary. If you add a gig and the other party subsequently deletes it, Lemonrock will inform you by email.
Could the other party change my gig by replacing my band or venue with a different band or venue?
This can happen, but a warning message is shown to confirm that the person really does want to change the main details of a gig. In practice, very few gigs are changed once they are added to Lemonrock. If a confirmed gig is cancelled, we ask you to update the gig status on Lemonrock to 'cancelled', instead of deleting the gig. This gives the public more information, and also enables you to show your cancelled date in our Cancelled Dates section if you are re-booking.
