Heart and Soul have performed at our Wine Bar and Restaurant Lounge a few times and have always been consistently superb! Our customers have loved the songs that they perform - a fantastic selection of cool jazzy grooves with some of our particular favourites being Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles and Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder! Music that you will definitely know and love and have everyone tapping their feet. All of our customers enjoy listening to Heart and Soul and we have repeat bookings for when they perform! Bryan and Steph have always arrived on time, they are nothing but polite and put everything into their gigs. Communication between myself and Bryan is always maintained and I will continue to book them for gigs at The Cellar! We booked Heart and Soul for my 50th Birthday party and I can honestly say they blew us away. They played for 2.5 hours in total and there were some memorable moments, such as Baker Street, Uptown Funk, One Step Beyond and Play That Funky Music. Everyone and I mean everyone, thought the band were brilliant and asked where we had found them. That's a long story (and one I find hard to explain) but clearly placing business cards in lots of places is a really good idea! I have no hesitation in recommending them, Stephanie's vocals are superb and Bryan's sax is to die for. The other thing to mention is their flexibility. We had three sets, the first one quite relaxed and jazzy, the second upped the pace a bit (and people were already dancing) and then the third (and a half, thanks Bryan!) got the place really rocking. I certainly didn't expect the conga to One Step Beyond, nor to Bryan following them playing the sax. If you're getting the impression about a great, fun time, then that's exactly right. Thanks to Heart and Soul for making a great evening, completely brilliant.

I chose 'Heart & Soul' to play at my Mum's 80th Birthday party, having seen them play previously at a local gig, and they did not disappoint! For a two-piece band, Heart & Soul certainly have a big, good quality sound and mesh well together to give a tight, professional, yet fun performance, complemented by a high quality sound and lighting system.

With guests ranging from between 2 years of age to 90, their set was brilliantly chosen for such a diverse audience. Everyone loved the music, and with mixed genres of popular music, including Blues, Jazz, Soul and even a bit of Country thrown in especially for Mum, the dextrous duo managed to cater for everyone's taste buds!

As their name would suggest, Heart and Soul not only injected heart and soul into our party with their energetic approach to getting it going and maintaining the vibe, but also poured heart and soul into every song sung!

This pair were everything we'd hoped for and then some. I'd book them again in a heartbeat. A big thank you and well done to you both!

Great gig last night. A fantastic mix of Soul funk and contemporary numbers. Both of you sounded absolutely wonderful and made the evening so special. The Taunton Carnival was on, but it wasn't the main attraction in town! Spectacular Sax playing and wonderful vocals. "Will You" was amazing. Can't thank you both enough for such an enjoyable evening. Can't wait to see you again
