4 Dec 2022Heart Of Oak, PinhoeHeart Of Oak in PinhoeBlimey, that was a good one! Another fab gig at one of our favourite venues, and so great to see some familiar faces in the crowd too! Some wonderful memories came flooding back & it really is amazing how much ground we've covered over the years. We were out the back room tonight, a first for us as we normally play right next to the bar! Much more room for all of us but still the brilliant crowd buzz that we've always got at this venue. Hey, even the Slade song went down well (though to be fair, when doesn't it go down well?). This is the last time Ian will play at the Heart of Oak so thank you for being such a welcoming venue over the years - it's been incredible to have played so many wonderful gigs at your pub.A rest next weekend before we take on our Xmas double-header, starting with Friday 16th December 2022 at Feniton Social Club, Feniton - details on Lemonrock at:https://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=806206Bring out the tinsel & bells & we hope to see you there!Contact Us

5 Jun 2022Heart Of Oak, ExeterHeart Of Oak in ExeterSo sorry that we had to cancel the gig at short notice. Unfortunately Paul, our amazing drummer was taken very ill last minute and had to pull out. Paul loves to play with us so we all knew he had to be really poorly to cancel. We tried really hard to find another band to take our place but sadly anyone who was anyone were already playing as part of the Jubilee celebrations. We hope the Heart of Oak will forgive this very unfortunate situation and re book at some time in the future. Please see our future dates for a venue near you!!https://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=799908Pam

6 Feb 2022Heart Of Oak, ExeterHeart Of Oak in ExeterWell that's the first gig of 2022 done & what a cracking night it was too! Another superb crowd at one of our favourite venues, and all of them up for a party! It was great to dust off the rusty strings & keys after a long rest in January (well for some - Ian has been doing panto for most of the month so his organs have had plenty of use!!!!) and the crowd we had at the Heart of Oak was just the tonic to kick-start 2022.An active 2022 calendar continues next week when we're playing at The Park Hotel, Exmouth on Sat 12th Feb - details on Lemonrock at:https://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=785150Hope to see you there!

2 Jul 2018Let’s Rock Pinhoe (while sweating quite a bit!)Apologies for the lack of blogs recently – no excuse really, other than we’ve been tied up with other things outside of Kiss This which have taken our minds off blogging. “What could be more important than a Kiss This blog?”, I don’t hear you ask! Well believe it or not, we do have a life outside this band but that’s another story so let’s get this one going, shall we? It was back to one of our favourite venues last weekend. The Heart Of Oak in Pinhoe, Exeter usually serves up a lively concoction of punters, and Saturday night was no exception. Despite the glorious weather and the fact that Powderham Castle had a slightly bigger gig going on (ABC & Sister Sledge? – never heard of them!), we drew a pretty decent crowd who once again were well up for a party. Massive thanks go to the two colourful females who were decked out in their 80’s gear, having left Let’s Rock Exeter early to come & join our little tribute to that wonderful decade of song! They were both pretty much glued to the dance floor all evening (except during the break, which is understandable) and along with the rest of the crowd, gave us yet another fantastic night at this great pub. Thanks also to the friendly bar staff who always make us feel welcomed, and to whoever it was who came up with the idea of putting mini-goals in the gents urinals, giving us opportunities for penalty practice throughout the evening (good job I’m not in the England squad, the crowd would have got thoroughly soaked!). See you again soon guys, and thanks again for a great night.Hope to see you at our next gig, which is on Friday 27th July 2018 at The Park Hotel, Exmouth - details on Lemonrock at: https://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=544113****Planning a party or wedding?****Give us a shout, we're guaranteed to make your party a night to rememberContact Us

1 Apr 2018Heart Of Oak, ExeterWhat a night!!We had a superb gig at Heart Of Oak in Exeter last night.Once again we delved into the back of the set list drawer and dusted off a few early songs we used to do and mixed them up with the newer ones.We bravely/stupidly bunged in a slightly unready version of Everybody Wants To Rule The World, that'll be another crowd pleaser when it's bedded in.A big thanks to everyone who came along and made the evening special.Hope to see you at our next gig, which is on Sunday 1st April 2018 (that's TODAY!) at The Kings Arms, Exeter - details on Lemonrock at:https://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=526720****Planning a party or wedding?****Give us a shout, we're guaranteed to make your party a night to rememberContact Us

1 Jan 2015NYE 2014 @ The Heart Of Oak, ExeterSo after a fairly busy 2014, we rounded the year off with a bang at The Heart Of Oak in Exeter! It's the first time we've done a NYE at this venue & boy, what a night we had. What a crowd! Yeah we've had great gigs at this pub before but this was something else! From the minute we started, everyone was clearly up for a party & hopefully we gave them one (a party that is, not "one" - if you get my drift!!). In 12 years of playing together, it's the first time ever that we've played "Sit Down" by James & the entire audience sat down - literally!! Still, it was one of those moments that we'll remember for a very long time.Thank you immensely Pinhoe - what a great night we had & look forward to many more to come. And to all of you who came along last night, thank you so much for making the end of 2014 a fantastic night for us.We hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did. See you all in 2015 for some more fun, frollicks & even more new songs (oh yes, we've more in the pipeline!!!).Hope to see you at our next gig, which is on Saturday 10th January 2015 at Prospect Inn, Exeter - details on Lemonrock at:http://www.lemonrock.com/gig.php?id=374398To email.. use the send a private enquiry link
