The Horns, Watford [Pub]
Well done Jane and all those involved to bring back the awesome feeling of feeling alive whilst rocking out (seated and socially distanced) to some good tunes and jamming out....deffo coming back and will bring 5 friends with me ? SharonSharon Ogilvie, Wednesday 7 October 2020
Went to our first gig in over 6 months at The Horns last night to see the always excellent Tom Billington & Sinead Quinn.
Firstly, well done to Jane & her team for getting gigs back & running, and their usual good humour and fantastic service.
Tom & Sinead are always good but after 6 months without live music, we thoroughly enjoyed their vast repertoire of songs last night from Gone, Gone, Gone, right through to Leaving on a Jet Plane. We were there early enough to hear Tom's great rendition of Times are a-changing in the sound check.
Really good night out, and a big thank to Jane & the team, and Tom & Sinead.

Caught this band by chance at The Horns and what a great night out! Really tight musicians and a refreshing set-list that stayed away from the same old stuff that so many other bands do. Will definitely see again!Colin McLeod (Drummer), Sunday 26 January 2020
Glad you enjoyed the set Colin and thanks for the good review.
Third time we have seen this great ten piece band. All talented individuals combining to make a solid backing for the singer. Spirited rock, blues, funk, soul, jazz. Music of Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Crusaders, Steely Dan, Joe Cocker. And the best version of Les McCann's "Compared To What?" I have heard - recorded or live. Support these horns at The Horns.Derek Akien, Sunday 2 February 2020
Best Band Bar None at the Best Bar Bar None. Compared to what? Compared to most other bands. Very close though as seen some excellent groups at The Horns. Great vocals and spirited support from the other nine band members. Blues, rock, soul and screaming jazz funk, tight arrangements. Seen them three times. Wide variety - Blood Sweat & Tears, Chicago, Steely Dan, etc. Recommended to clear the cobwebs!Derek Akien, Saturday 9 November 2019
