Great fun as always when the Huggies played at The Wheatsheaf in our beloved Leighton Buzzard this Friday. Always entertaining to see people up dancing on the benches and tables, but having a series of dancers doing press ups in front of the stage during Disco Inferno took audience participation to a new and very welcome level.

Thanks to everyone who braved a rainy night to come and see us, and we look forward to being back in a few months.

A very enjoyable evening last Saturday at Crawley Green Sports and Social Club, but the band were sorry to hear afterwards that a group of people had been turned away after driving quite a distance to see us play. We're sorry for the inconvenience; it was a special anniversary night just for club members, but at the time the gig went onto Lemonrock we didn't know this, and so it was listed as a regular club night. Our apologies once again.

It does go to show, though, that gigs at social clubs may well have their own special door policies, and we would always advise contacting the club (or the band) before travelling just to make sure that you'll be able to get in. We do hope that those affected on Saturday night will come to and see us again - we really appreciate you taking the time and the trouble to come out to see us, and it's always good to see some enthusiastic faces on the dancefloor!

Unfortunately we've had to cancel our scheduled gig on Saturday 23rd May at Leighton Buzzard Conservative Club. We know a lot of people were planning to come out to this one so apologies for the inconvenience. On the bright side, our duo version Shaken Not Stirred will now be providing the evening's entertainment, so there will still be dancefloor activity at the club!

The Huggies hope to reschedule and be back at the club later in the summer.
