Banging crazy night at King Billy with a free bar however cream crackered at the end. Excellent support from Dudley Tyrrell performing both Bob Dylan and his own originals.

After what was a significant and enjoyable gig at The Hollybush in Hampshire last night we then commenced the momentous journey back to London just after midnight. Within five minutes of driving, we hit heavy fog and it was difficult to distinguish between light and dark areas and objects on the road. It felt like we just entered the twilight zone and with poor visibility things became a little scary. However, John our drummer drove cautiously keeping his distance from any vehicles, and eventually, we arrived home safely at 3am in the morning.

Glad to be home.

The J45s were back performing last night at WESC in Woking following gig cancellations due to illness.

Lengthy night from 8.30 to midnight. I granted the ‘Jimmy Egypt’ Stratocaster another outing!

Big thanks to Russell Chaney for stepping on vocals in the first half to help out. It was good to try some new material from Thin Lizzy, Bob Marley, and Tom Petty as well as Lou Reed's 'Sweet Jane'

We were all cream crackered at the end of the night.
