Listening to Joyrider your not stuck in one genre of music and you find your foot tapping along to types of music you'd not normally listen too...
I would say " a band for any occasion whether it be a wedding or a social gathering "...

Great First Gig The Harlequin, Kettering on Friday 27 April 2018
I saw Joyrider (three guys and a young lady) whilst in Kettering visiting my sister and family. The band are a four piece consisting of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards, and all four do lead and backing vocals. It was, apparently, their first gig with the current line up; this was hardly apparent, apart from a slight lack of confidence to start with, but this disappeared as they relaxed into it and started to enjoy themselves. There was great musicianship and vocals (and lots of excellent multi-part harmonies) throughout. They play a wide selection of songs, covering rock and pop. Unfortunately I somewhat overdid the bottles of Hobgoblin that night, so the only bands I can remember in the set list are Journey, the Eagles, Snow Patrol and Bryan Adams - but trust me, there’s a large variety of popular stuff, all beautifully covered. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I hope I get to see them again sometime. Highly recommended. Also, as I play a little guitar myself, I’d like to be permitted a little bias and say that whilst they’re all very good, their guitarist Ian is superb ...
