The King and Queen is a traditional village community pub in the heart of Wendover. Serving homemade food from midday til 3pm & 6pm til 9pm Tuesday to Saturday, with traditional roasts on a Sunday 12 - 4pm.We have a great range of lagers on draught, 1 permanent ale, Youngs Bitter and two guest Ales, changing regularly. We also have two draft craft beers on rotation (Adnams Mosaic and Vedett Blonde for example) and an extensive range of bottled lagers and beers (traditional and craft). We stock a wide range of premium spirits, including american bourbons, rums and tequilas. Probably the largest range of premium gins in the immediate area, currently around 15 different brands. We serve Fever Tree tonics.The pub boasts two bars (one with an open fire in the winter months), a dining area and pretty garden.There is a regular schedule of live music at weekends. Mainly acoustic, specialising in alt-country / americana. Either in the larger bar or the garden if the weather is fine.A regular pub quiz on the second Wednesday of each month.We are happy to discuss catering events in any of the bars or in the garden.
