THE LSD BAND (aka 'Les Social Disinfectants') were formed during lockdown as a jam band by five of London's top musicians who all have superb CV's, having played with some of the best acts in the world. Their new blues/rock collective has already played a few gigs to great acclaim, with four of the guys being accomplished singers as well. Their set-list includes classics by such artists as the Allman Brothers Band, Cream, early Fleetwood Mac, JJ Cale, Ry Cooder, Neil Young, Joe Walsh, Rolling Stones and more. The band line-up consists of:

MATT BACKER (guitar/vocals). Matt was born in New Orleans, has lived in the UK for many years and has played guitar for an enormous number of artists, including ABC, Steve Winwood, Joe Cocker, Julian Lennon and Marcella Detroit among many others. He's also released five solo albums, the most recent of which is "Backernalia". His music has also appeared in movies and on TV. e.g. Fahrenheit 911, Malcolm In The Middle, Game Of Thrones, Top Gear and The Serpent, as well as in adverts for major brands like Chrysler, Grolsch and McDonald's.

DZAL MARTIN (guitar/vocals). Dzal is one of London's most in-demand session players who started out in the '70s with EMI band No Dice. In 1983, he was one of the core guitarists on the Box Of Frogs project which featured Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page & Rory Gallagher among others. He was also a member of The Equals for many years as well as playing regularly with Terry Reid, while his session work includes such diverse artists as Van Morrison, Nik Kershaw, Meatloaf, Nazareth, Del Shannon & Whitney Houston. Dzal's debut solo album "Drawing Horses" was released in 2017, while he's also been lead guitarist with the Trembling Wilburys for the past ten years.

STEVE SALVARI (keyboards/vocals). Steve was co-founder member of Brit-Funk band Central Line and has worked with Chaka Khan, Robert Palmer, Lulu, Barry White and The Libertines among others. His debut solo album "I Fly With Dragons" was released in 2020 while he has played solo shows at Pizza Express Holborn with his own masterful soul/funk outfit. In the LSD Band he pays special tribute to the late great Billy Preston with his superb version of "That's The Way God Planned It" as well as performing "How Long" (Ace) and "Need Your Love So Bad" (F. Mac).

VINCE LEWIS (bass/vocals). Vince started out playing with drummer Dave Stark in Raw Deal during the early '70s, before eventually joining acclaimed guitarist/singer Lee Ryder in Lee Ryder's Blues Deluxe, which has made countless public appearances worldwide. From live gigs to studio sessions and more, they continue to touch fans in the UK and beyond with their distinctive and highly enjoyable musical style. As Blues Magazine USA once wrote, "As blues bands go it doesn't get much better!"

DAVE STARK (drums). Dave is a well-known music industry professional who has also played drums since the age of 13, originally in such bands as Raw Deal, Riviera Feedback and his own Dave Stark Five (!!), before later joining top tribute band the John Lennon Experience featuring Gary Gibson, and eventually forming the Trembling Wilburys in 2011. He's also played with such names as Randy Bachman, Denny Laine, Mike Berry and the late Jim Diamond, and recently published "It's All Too Much", his much-acclaimed memoirs of being a teenage Beatles fan in the '60s and beyond.
