OMJ [Rock and/or Blues and/or Pop, 5 piece]
If you want a fun night out then go and see OMJ. We saw them in the White Lion, Bengeo a few weeks ago and we will definitely return on September 30th. Musically and vocally they are excellent and they got everyone up dancing. with covers from the 60s to present day. One of the band members actually came up to us at the end and thanked us for supporting them, but the pleasure was all ours. It's great to have such a talented local band playing in Hertford (see Lemonrock for fixtures) and we can't wait to see them again soon. Carol and TonyCarol, Thursday 16 September 2021
Hi Carol and Tony,
Thanks so much for this great review. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Hope to see you at the next gig on 30th October at The White Lion or The Lord Haig on 6th November from 9 pm.
Fantastic evening, they never fail to deliver. Had the place jumping with an excellent mix of tunes. Well worth the 60 mile journey!! Something for everyone that made the beer flow all the more easily...Tuesday 12 March 2019
Glad to have an appreciative audience - we're glad you came along, and had a good time.
The Steamer always has good bands on and I was excited to see a new one this past weekend.
Well, all I can say is WOW!! Musically they were spot on all night, tight as tight can get. Great set list and a really engaging band. Any band that can do White Room, Happy Hour and Footloose in the same set. Do them well and smash it gets a massive round of applause from me.
Tremendous gig and I hope to see them again!

Many thanks for the comments Nigel.
OMJ takes pride in performing an eclectic set that appeals to as many as we can.
We're really glad you enjoyed the evening...we as a band always do have fun and love to see and hear feedback.
It was our first time at the Steamer, I'm sure we will be back.
We look forward to seeing you at many of our other gigs later this year.
OMJ are a good times band and Gerry really bangs it out on vocals. Lots of dancing and fun. And good unusual covers like the Cure etc..well worth a listen :)Monday 11 March 2019
Cheers for the review. Great to hear you enjoyed the gig. Hope you can catch us again soon.
Went along to see Gerry, and the boys in concert, and was not disappointed. The place was packed, which was a sign of things to come. A very well rehearsed band, and they enjoy what they do, which is brilliant. A five piece line up, with two Lead/Rythem Guitarists. Not seen a line up like this, since Peter Green had the same line up with Fleetwood Mac. Their repertoire, covers from the Sixties to the present. Their shear, happy exuberance, and energy, reflects on the audience, with every one singing , and dancing along to the Tunes. Excellent performances, from all of the band members. High lights for me. All of the Day, and all of the night, and Back in the USSR. Great performances, and great arrangements. Excellent sound quality, crisp, and clear. Gerry is a singer/song writer, in his own right. Catch his C/D worlds apart. An excellent self penned piece of music. If these Guys are playing a venue near you. Pop along you will not be disappointed, you'll have a great time. I predict, a bright, and happy future for OMJ. Jack Nelson.Monday 11 March 2019
