I have seen Pat & The Butchers perform quite a few times now and they just get better and better. I don't live local to where they usually perform but I know the effort to get the pub where they are playing is always worth it as I know I'm guaranteed a good night out!

I was lucky enough to have them to perform at our wedding this August, and everyone knew this was going to be one of my highlights of my big day (after marrying my husband of course)! This was one part of my wedding that I knew would be guaranteed to be perfect. In the lead up to the big day all my friends and family had heard how much I thought of these guys so I added a bit of pressure to the guys! But there was no doubt that they'd ever let us down they were simply BRILLIANT!!! After the big day a lot of my guests who hadn't previously seen Pat & Her Butchers took the time to tell me how great they thought they were and what a great evening they created.

To be honest I don't feel I need to explain much more of how great these guys are as anyone who goes to see them will simply understand this by the time the first set is over... and the second just gets better and better.

I will never get tire of seeing this great band, if your looking for a guaranteed great night out with a fantastic fun lead singer backed by talented musicians then this is your band!

Made our wedding! Not only are these guys wonderful people who now feel like friends, they are amazing at what they do!

Had everyone up dancing, interact with everyone getting everyone involved and Every song they perform is excellent!

We wanted a real mix of music as me and my husband like different things and pat and the butchers pulled this off brilliantly.

Where do you start reviewing a band like Pat & The Butchers? After seeing the band perform at a gig in North Finchley, I knew they were the first choice to play at our wedding.

This was not a choice I came to regret since Pat (AKA Julie), is a natural crowd-pleaser and I'm pleased to say not a single guest was left seated during the time the band was booked to entertain them. Pat has more than just great vocal depth; she's a solid entertainer with an amusing twist and all encompassing personality - wow - a winning combination for sure!

The Grims Dyke Hotel, Old Redding, Harrow Weald hosted our wedding and the room provided was large and gothic, to which Pat and the boys added that extra spark.

Having mentioned 'The boys', I must go on to say how professional they sounded. Both guitars, including, bassist Graham (Ham) Cole, were top notch and the band's Prince Harry look- alike drummer (well worth a viewing) also displayed unquestionable talent!

The band's play list was diverse and matched the group's upbeat personality. Pat has a great 'rapping' talent which was showcased well in Indeep's " Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" (my particular fave!) Other notable gems included Florence and the Machine's catchy "You've Got The Love' and Gnarles Barkley's highly acclaimed "Crazy" at which point we were all crazily wearing the dance floor away!

My review just doesn't do justice to this band, whose performance and material appealed to all ages at our wedding. My teenage kids, for example, can't wait to get to one of their future gigs and although I certainly won't be getting married again, I already have it mind to book Pat & The Butchers for future anniversary celebrations!

Watch out and be warned, Pat - we aren't done with you guys yet!

Brilliant band and they just played for charity

Wow! What can I say? I asked 'Pat' and the band to perform at a charity function that I was organising, and they did not disappoint. Despite their drummer being unavailable, I was able to arrange a top-notch stand-in and they performed as though they'd been playing together for years, Julie was engaging and entertaining throughout the afternoon and lifted the spirits of all who were there - having already seen 3 acts, the crowd were in need of something special to round off the day. 'Pat' and the boys were EXACTLY the right choice. Their mix of material - everything from Plan B to Katrina & The Waves (naturally) - was superb. Upbeat, lively and entertaining. I have heard nothing but compliments about their performance and we look forward to having them play for us again next year! There are a great many function bands out there but you'd have to go a long way to find one with the humour, attitude and energy of Pat & The Butchers
