What can be said about ‘Powderfinger’ that hasn’t already been said about Neil Young?

Appearing in front of a sizeable crowd at Tavistock Wharf tonight, these guys are about as tight a tribute to the great man as you’ll ever hear. You might think that a Neil Young tribute is an unlikely act? Trust me, even if you weren’t a fan beforehand, you will be after one of ‘Powderfinger’s’ gigs.

This is one talented bunch of musicians - and their harmonies are to die for. Don’t miss out on a chance to see them.

Truly excellent Neil Young and Crazy Horse tribute band. Outstanding musicians who obviously have a genuine passion for Neil's music. Excellent set list that consisted of 2 electric sets and an acoustic set. As well as the expected Neil Young classics we also got some I wasn't expecting such as Words, Lotta Love and Winterlong. Stand outs for me where Down By The River, Cowgirl In The Sand, Ohio, Love and Only Love, Cortez the Killer and Southern Man. The acoustic set in the middle was superb.

Far better than any other tribute band I have seen. Go see for yourself. I guarantee you that you will be seriously impressed.
