Princess Theatre, Hunstanton [Theatre]
Opened as the Capitol Cinema in 1932, this cinema was built with the locally quarried Norfolk Carrstone and has the largest gable wall of Carrstone in existence. It was designed to be both a cinema and theatre and was equipped with a 30-foot wide proscenium arch, a 17-foot deep stage and 5 dressing rooms.It was refurbished and re-named the Princess Theatre (after Lady Diana Spencer) in 1981.
