Redriffe play classic rock featuring artists as AC/DC, Bad Company, Cream, Deep Purple, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy, The Who and ZZ Top.They say that in Hertford, Hereford and Hampshire, hurricanes hardly ever happen, but they certainly do when Redriffe come to town. And with a wide circle of fans and followers, Redriffe are very happy to travel further afield, bringing ultimate classic rock to you. We guarantee to blitz your ballroom, rock your party and refresh the parts other bands cannot reach.Over the past few years, Redriffe have played at dozens of venues across London and the south east. Beginning life in Rotherhithe, the dockland area of the River Thames close to Tower Bridge and looking for a suitable band name, we found that Redriffe is the old word for Rotherhithe and features in Samuel Pepys's diaries, Gulliver's Travels and on the sign of The Angel, a historic riverside pub. No prizes for guessing where we spotted it. The band has a strong local connection through singer Paul "Fish" Tovell, Bermondsey born and bred. We played our first gig at the Rotherhithe Festival in July 2014 and were invited back in 2015. In 2017, 2019 and 2021 Redriffe played at the Bermondsey Carnival and in 2022 we'll be entertaining the fans of Millwall Football Club.Redriffe is an established and professional unit playing classic rock to audiences young and old. A dynamic blend of energy and experience, backed up with solid musicianship and charismatic stage presence, Redriffe are available for gigs, private parties, weddings and corporate functions. We have our own stage lights and a top-quality PA system.
