Ross Kirk is a professional twelve-string guitarist and vocalist and has spent the last 30 years in the music world. For the last fifteen years he has been gigging professionally, both in small intimate venues and big stadium events. He usually performs solo, but has also collaborated with other singers and instrumentalists at various events. Although based in Somerset, Ross's reputation for great vocals, beautiful twelve-string guitar work and a genuinely fun event has gained Ross popularity nationally, and he now performs all over the UK and Western Europe.

His skill as a musician and sound engineer has led him to host a plethora of open mics, and he has had the fortune of meeting many upcoming stars, as well as presenting many well established artists over the years, including Indian roots legend Sheila Chandra and the likes of The Mangledwurzels and Richard Digance, as well as gigging with Kim Wilde's guitarist and The Enid band member Francis Lickerish.

His amiable nature and chilled-out attitude has allowed him to become one of the most popular hosts of regular open mic events in the central Somerset area (all these are included in his gig list), and he has occasionally run them further afield.

Ross has the advantage of a very good sound system which can cope with outdoor events as well as a pub or club situation, also, being an acoustic guitarist, he can leave all that behind and do an 'up close and personal' gig too. In addition to his guitar performance, Ross also performs a Rat Pack and swing tribute as 'Frank Martino' (see separate entry).

Because of the unique and full sound of the twelve string, coupled with Ross's powerful vocals and his large repertoire of lively songs, he is often booked by venues who would normally only consider bands.

It's all him too - no backing tracks or drum machines! You'll be amazed how much music can come out of one person!!
