The Ship Hotel, Crediton [Live Music Pub]
What an excellent night from a great band.
Over the last year I've seen quite a few bands and this is only the second I've wanted to write up!
The lads enjoyed themselves while entertaining the audience. It's great to see bands that know how to work the audience - it makes it more enjoyable for everyone.
They played a few AC/DC tracks (Heatseeker, Whole Lotta Rosie, Let There Be Rock), which were brilliant. Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb was out of this world - I've not heard such a good cover before.
They're back in Exeter next week and I'm trying to change something that I'd planned to do for over a month to go and see them again - they are that good!

Thanks for the positive comments Nigel!
This was my first time watching the band, but I'd heard good things about them and went along with an open mind to find myself completely blown away! The mix of music from rockabilly (Stray Cats) meandering through to heavy rock (Black Sabbath) - even throwing in Bryan Adams for the girlies, kept the crowd on the edge of their seats. The entertainment value of the boys themselves, with their self-depreciating wit and occasional swear word thrown in for good measure was enough to keep the crowd happy. They encouraged participation from everyone there, good or bad, and had a ready answer for everything as well as the right song for right occasion (Whole lot of Rosie & She knows who she is).
The boys are a very likeable, not unpleasant to look at, entertaining bunch, with some real musical talent too.
I would recommend anyone considering going along to one of their gigs to do so & any pubs/clubs out there looking for a band to get the crowd going & get some real characters in - then look no further.
