The wife and I went along to Hunstanton as we're big John Otway fans and he was headlining the gig. First band up were Slit Whiskers, well what a great show they put on, it had a bit of everything for such a short set. Not musicians ourselves but you know quality when you see and hear it. Pleasantly surprised to find out they're a Cambridge band so will be going along to see a lot more of them. Thanks for a great show.

If you like the blues then go and see this band. They delivered a really tight session of blues classics with a particularly full sound with keys and mouth organ backing up the usual vocals and guitar. If you listen to the mp3's you'll know to expect a decent guitarist but all the musicians are pretty professional. I'm a bassist so I particularly appreciated the rhythm section. Really solid and on the money and the bassist injects lots of energy into the performance. The keys sounded lovely with a fabulous Hammond/Leslie sound. Loads of fun and they put on a show, the jokes were awful. I'd definitely go and see them again if they were appearing locally
