Great gig at THE KINGS HEAD and BELL on Saturday. Boy was it hot!!!! Thanks to all who came for making it a fun night. In particular it was great to see old friends Cara and Billy. Thanks guys , you are always so supportive.

We were very disappointed Chalgrove Music Festival was cancelled due to high winds over the week end. A great shame as every one would have made such an effort to get things organised . book bands, stage, sound guys, security, advertising etc. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision but as it turned out it was the right call.

Hopefully we will be asked to play next year. Sorry to all our friends who were coming to see us. Why don't you come to The Swan Hotel ,Thame on Sunday August 18th? We are playing from 5 till 7 in the afternoon/early evening. A great chill out time.

THE KC JONES BAND had two very enjoyable gigs over the weekend. Saturday was at The bird cage , Thame. The second was at The Red Lion ,Chalgrove , Oxfordshire. Two very different gigs. We had a warm welcoming crowd on Saturday , listening and enjoying the music. The sound in the room was perfect . It made it great from a musicians point of view.

Sunday at The Red Lion was a great St Patrick's day party. I'm not sure if there was room for any one else in the pub. Raymond and Sue are such delightful hosts and this shows in the loyalty of their customers. We as a band were made most welcome, people singing along, dancing ,clapping and generally having a great afternoon/early evening. We will be back and very much look forward to playing there again.

Thanks to all of the fans of live music at both venues . Without you there is no point in playing in a band . we appreciate your support. Hope to see you soon.
