Really good cover band, lovely singer, good musicians, what more can you want on a night out?

I’m a regular at this place. I’ve now recovered from last night 🙃 but I have to say, this band last night f*** amazing. This is the band you can’t miss,, bass player is outstanding. Singer is better than a pub band. You have to see them !

Big thank you to Helen and her band for an amazing night for my 60th birthday. We booked Undercover after having a great night where they played at a birthday party a couple of years ago. Helen was easy to communicate with, fun and friendly and sent me an extensive cover list to pick my preferences from.

The band arrived early with time to set up and created a great atmosphere, the whole party were singing and dancing all night. You made my 60th birthday really special. Thanks again, Michele & family.

No need for an undercover profile; the truth is out there, this is a band with much to commend it. An attractive vocalist with a good stage persona, and surprisingly adept musicians, unusually astute at knowing exactly what to do to make it work - most musicians in these settings are oblivious to anything but their own playing. The lead guitarist was especially wise in his choice of how to play the songs within the strictures of this band format, and the bass player had many of the same qualities. I was surprised though, when they played "Summer of '69", they didn't really get a grip of it somehow - was the song new to them? Or perhaps not enough time to consider it? Still, such lapses were rare, and for the most part, I was pleasantly surprised by the skill of the band in bringing the songs to heel. Well worth a look if you see them near your neighbourhood.

After an amazing night, I had to look these guys up and say how brilliant you guys are.
