Undercovers [Function Band, 5 piece]

Enjoyed a lovely evening listening to many of my favourite numbers from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 00s, 10s (did I miss a 90s number?). A real team effort this, with three lots of backing vocals. One of the musicians was deputising for the regular band member, but it was such a smooth overall performance, you would have been hard-pressed to work out which one it was. As the evening progressed, the crowd became more engaged, and "I predict a riot" proved very popular - and it seemed that an actual riot was threatened when the band had to stop playing at 11:00! Top notch stuff this, from a group of talented musicians and a singer with a wide vocal range. More please!
Peter Hall, Sunday 30 January 2022Thank you so much for this great review and we are so pleased you had such a good evening. We did Angels, which I believe is a 90s song, but agree that we do need more from that era, watch this space.
The audience were amazing and we really look forward to our next gig at The Chineham Arms.

The Undercovers were absolutely fantastic at the music festival, one of the best live performances i have seen, the band have such a wide range of songs it really got everyone up dancing! Jules has a great vocal range and knows how to work the crowd, all the musicians are super talented and i couldn't recommend them highly enough!! thank you for giving us a superb night and will definitely book you again!

The Undercovers Band played a great mix of old and new songs in lots of different styles, from the 1950s through to current hits.
The musicianship and vocal harmonies were of a very high standard (a particular highlight was 'The Chain' by Fleetwood Mac).
The band soon had our audience up and dancing, and they were shouting out for more at the end of the evening.
We shall certainly be booking them to play for us again later this year and I am pleased to recommend them to other venues!

At Lodge of Perfect Harmony (a Freemasons Lodge).
The Undercovers Band played at Lodge of Perfect Harmony Ladies Festival held on the 29th January 2011 at the Beaumont House Hotel, Windsor.
They were fantastic and had our Lodge members up and dancing all night. Their choice of songs was just right for the audience and had the right mix of old and new songs for our guests. Their musicianship and vocal harmonies were excellent!
I cannot tell you how many compliments I have had from our guests and I cannot recommend them highly enough!
