Our second trip across to the Island in as any weekends :-) We had been invited to set the evening up at Norton Grange Coastal Resort in Yarmouth in preparation for your headline act - Earl Jackson and his band. Hopefully you thought we did OK...? The dance floor and monstrous roar for more at the end of our set suggests we didn't disappoint :-)

Thanks to Monica and Earl for asking us to play we do love a Boogaloo Production and hope we impressed enough for us to be invited back again.

Rumworth Hall, Bolton

We must try and ensure we don't have two long distance gigs on the trot when they are in completely the opposite direction of each other. Friday sees us travelling up the M40, M6 and others to land at Rumworth Hall in Bolton. Further complicated by the fact that Ross and I had to go up in a car whilst dad and James took the van. Logistics has never been our strong point and getting time away from work on two consecutive days never goes down well with the boss so this was a necessity to ensure we got the gear there and setup before too many people started coming through the doors.

All worked out well and we had a fantastic reception from the people who came along to see us. A full house with great dancers and loads of cheering - we love our lives :-)

Sorry we couldn't hang around too long at the end but a four and a half hour drive home ready for a two hour trip the next day meant we were very limited for time. Hopefully we'll get to stick around and say hello for longer the next time we are up - and there will be a next time :-)

Elite Venue, Gravesend

We really need to sirt out what time we are supposed to be at the Elite Venue in Gravesend, we always seem to get there early, somehow get in the building, setup, sound check and then panic that we've arrived on the wrong day ;-) All calms down when we see Pete's fluffy whiskers appear and we settle in to a night of fun and dancing. I think all the bands who play here suffer with the acoustics but we are tuning ourselves in now and as long as we don't go mad with the volume we seem to get a fantastic sound :-)

Not a huge crown tonight but enough to keep the floor busy and the cheering loud. We can never thank people enough for coming out and watching us play - it always gives us a buzz and we love meeting up and establishing great relationships with people - you are all becoming close friends and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Riverside Centre Ltd, Newport

So it finally happened, we got to play at the Riverside Centre Ltd in Newport and we weren't disappointed :-) Some familiar faces and plenty of Vintage tee shirts on show :-) We have to thank Shirley for inviting us and we can only hope that she was impressed enough to invite us back next year.

It looks like the Island may become a favourite with us as we are back again next week and have just taken a booking for next year, so watch out on our website and Lemonrock if you want to see us again :-) We had a great time and would love to see you all again.
