Oh wow - what more can we say about the crowd that turned out to see us play at The Gander in Sutton...!

We still play a few pubs and they are all good and we always big them up on the night as they always turn out to be brilliant nights BUT...

...the Gander surpasses all others by a country mile with atmosphere and the people who turn out to see us. We know it's on our doorstep but people are driving to us now to make sure they are at the premier pub event of the year. It is so unusual to see so many jivers, all vying for a spot on the tiny dance floor but all happy to wait for their turn :-)

Our first set just gets the vibe moving in the right direction - the second set just takes it to another level. We can't thank Zoe, Emma and all the team for making it such a great evening - they are even producing their own posters for us now and getting the word out there - an amazing setup.

Let's hope they all feel the same and we get a couple of dates in the diary for 2017 - we can't wait...

Sheppey Rock & Roll Club, Sheerness

A brand new venue has opened at Sheppey Rock & Roll Club in Sheerness and what a lovely venue it is... Large dance floor, cheap bar with friendly staff and a great crowd for opening night. I'm sure this place is going to blossom over the coming months and hopefully we did well enough to get back on the band list to play here again in 2017.

It's refreshing to see an eclectic mix of jive and dress styles - it is very much a come as you chose venue that wants to unify jiving styles and cultures. And we were happy that we got chosen because of our own mixture of music, hopefully playing something for everyone :-)

One more gig before we break for Christmas week and take time out to see family - then it's straight back after Christmas with a couple more gigs to see us into 2017 BUT NOT BEFORE - The Gander tomorrow night... this is not usually one to miss...

Carshalton Social Club, Carshalton

When we get the play time sorted this will be a fantastic gig but we keep getting confused of when to start and when to stop at Carshalton Social Club in Carshalton - they are different to any other club we play in that we start some time between 20:30 and 21:00 then have a break when someone says so and then play again at sometime to midnight... all very confusing.

We muh prefer the simple life of set times and knowing when to play and stop. All that said though, we did have a great time and were pleasantly suprised to see so many familiar faces. A special shout went out to Cathy who managed to break her ankle recently and a tearful message sent back to Paula who asked us to mention her.

Far too many tears for a run up to Christmas but all good fun all the same :-)

We still have a few more gigs to do this year with a new venue for Friday and back to still the best pub for atmosphere we play - The Gander in Sutton, don't miss that one...

So we turned up at South Downs Holiday Village in Bracklesham to find that fifty of you had been hit by the 'Bracklesham Bug' - so with numbers down our hopes of having a packed Sunday lunchtime slot was all but in tatters...

Don't be daft, you turned out in numbers and filled the dance floor - no doubt spreading the germs and wiping out the remainder of the crowd - but seemingly having a fantastic time. We couldn't of been happier to see so many of you having a great time. We cannot thank you enough.
